How to improve the service life of stainless steel flanges?
Stainless steel flange is a disc-shaped complete machine, which is the most common in pipeline engineering, and flanges are used in pairs. In pipeline engineering, stainless steel flanges are mainly used for locking camlock fittings the connection of pipelines. In order to extend the service life of the tap and improve the quality of thread processing, the following points should be paid attention to.
Design and production of taps:
1. Choose a better tap material. The addition of special alloying elements in general high-speed tool steel can significantly improve the wear resistance and toughness of the tap.
2. Reasonably choose the heat treatment method of the tool to coordinate the hardness and toughness of the tap.
3. Properly increase the tap rake angle. But you should be careful, if the rake angle of the tap is too large, it will easily cause the tap to break and the tapped thread to be polygonal when the tool is retracted.
4. Coating titanium nitride coating on the thread name of stainless steel camlock fittings the tap can significantly improve the wear resistance, heat resistance and smoothness of the tap.
5. Properly increase the amount of tap shovel back. But you should be careful, if the amount of shovel back is too large, it is easy to cause chips to be stuffed into the rear corner of the tap when the tool is retracted, and the finish of the tapped thread is not good.
